The Wheels of Color Pelotonia team made their long-lasting and far-reaching intentions clear last year, by raising over $30,000 on a journey to bring awareness to cancer and further cancer research. While their purpose remains the same, this year things got a bit bigger.
This year, Wheels of Color rides for cancer with the full force of the Black cycling community of Columbus behind them. The clubs involved are as follows:
- Black Girls Do Bike
- Columbus Black Star Cycling Group
- Trailblazers
- Major Taylor Cycling Club
- The Wolfpack
- Team Linden
- Wheels of Color
United under Wheels of Color for Pelotonia 2023, each one of these cycling communities brings their own unique purpose to the forefront, displaying the community at large and their inspiring ability to support each other in their respective causes. They have each other’s back, they lead by example, and they promote a positive community. This year, they all ride for the cure, powered by the collective joy and determination of their community.
