For Isabel Bongue, the pursuit and creation of art is not limited to one medium. Rather, it manifests and explores itself through her portfolio of urban landscape design, murals, and set design and construction, among others. A firm believer in the power of communal artistic expression and collaboration, her human-centric murals beg passersby in their respective communities to share their stories and engage with art. Influenced by her bi-cultural upbringing, her work decorates the streets of Cali, Colombia and Columbus, Ohio, where she recently earned her master’s degree in landscape architecture. Isabel Bongue’s work has intention and curiosity, exploring new ways to bring people together through collective art with every new work!
My Columbus is the other artists who I know and work with, who inspire me and who teach me things and who push me to make art.
